Best Picture nominations

“The Irishman” and “Marriage Story” are available to stream on Netflix.

"Ford v Ferrari," "Little Women," "1917" and "Jojo Rabbit" are still in theaters. Movie theater prices vary, but Regal Hollywood offers an unlimited number of movies a month with a 50-cent surcharge. The price for the program starts at $18 monthly. Split among the four nominated films, that's comparable to renting online if you have the self-control to skip the movie theater popcorn. AMC Theatres has a similar program but limit films to three per week.

You’ll have to rent “Joker,” “Once Upon a Time ... in Hollywood,” and “Parasite.” They are available on multiple online streaming services and start at $3.99, $4.99 and $5.99 on Amazon, respectively.

Best Actor nominations

Many Best Actor stars appear in Best Picture-nominated films, but viewers can take advantage of seeing Best Actor nominee Jonathan Pryce in “The Two Popes” from home on Netflix.

“Pain and Glory,” starring Antonio Banderas, can be rented for $3.99 on Amazon Prime video.

Best Actress nominations

To watch Cynthia Erivo in “Harriet” and Renée Zellweger in “Judy,” you can rent the film on YouTube and Amazon Prime for $5.99 apiece.

Use the movie pass to catch Charlize Theron in “Bombshell.”
