Flights at Reagan National Airport near Washington, D.C., restarted late Thursday morning after the collision of an American Airlines jet and a military helicopter Wednesday.
More than a dozen flights were canceled between Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and Reagan National for Thursday, according to FlightAware.com.
Hartsfield-Jackson is one of the airports with the most flights to and from Reagan National, along with Boston and Chicago O’Hare.

Reagan National said it resumed flights at 11 a.m. Thursday. The airport advised travelers to stay in touch with their airlines for schedule updates.
Some flights bound for Washington Reagan on Wednesday evening were diverted to Washington Dulles and Baltimore-Washington International airports.
Atlanta flights canceled for Thursday include some flights on American regional carrier PSA Airlines, according to FlightAware.
