A body found Thursday morning in Lilburn has been identified as a 26-year-old woman missing since Saturday morning.

Gwinnett police said Angela Rabotte's body was found in a wooded area near the intersection of Lilburn Industrial Way and Arcado Road. Her body was found about 10:30 a.m. by surveyors working in the area, police said.

Gwinnett police said Rabotte was last seen in the parking lot of the Steeplechase Apartments in unincorporated Norcross about 6 a.m. Saturday after attending a party in Atlanta on Friday evening. Police said Rabotte dropped off her 3-year-old daughter with a friend before heading to the party.

Earlier in the week, friends of Rabotte searched a wooded area around the Steeplechase Apartments, but did not find anything, police said. Her body was found about five miles east of the apartment complex.

Foul play is suspected in Rabotte's death, police said, and Lilburn detectives have launched a homicide investigation.

Police said one of the last people to see Rabotte alive is in custody, but on unrelated charges.
