A man was startled when he came home and saw another man peeping into the window of his Marietta apartment, Channel 2 Action News reported.

Sigmund Scott told the news station he and his wife had a strange feeling when they entered their home at the Preserve at Terrell Mill apartments Saturday.

“I noticed to the right of me there was an image in the window,” he said. “And it was peculiar, because it was like ‘this can’t be going on.’”

Scott said when he took a closer look, he realized a man was outside his window.

“So I yelled out, ‘What are you doing?’” he said, “and he put his hands up and ducked down.”

Scott told Channel 2 he ran to the bushes and got a neighbor to help him look for the man. They spotted him in a truck heading toward the complex exit. Scott and his neighbor ran after the man but couldn’t catch him.

Cobb County police told Channel 2 they are aware of the incident.
