Police in Atlanta are investigating after a man dressed in what appeared to be a hospital gown was found dead Saturday.

Officers were sent to the 400 block of Lanier Street on a person dead call about 7 p.m., according to Atlanta police spokesman Officer Steve Avery. The man, who was in his 20s or 30s, was found at the scene, Avery said.

“It appeared that the body had been at the location for some time,” he said.

Investigators said there were no obvious signs of foul play. A cause of death is not clear.  The man’s body was taken to a medical examiner for an autopsy.
