A Duluth High School football booster club official faces charges of stealing more than $18,000 last year from the organization, according to media reports.

Club vice president Christian Antonette Houston, 56, faces six felony and two misdemeanor counts. Police believe she took $18,700 from the Duluth High School Touchdown Club which was spent through forged checks that paid for Houston’s personal items, reports said.

A school spokesperson said Houston was arrested and booked in Gwinnett County Jail, according to reports.
