Police in DeKalb County were called to investigate a wreck involving an ambulance and another vehicle Saturday night.

Officers were sent to the intersection of Lavista and Fellowship roads about 11 p.m. Saturday, according to DeKalb police spokeswoman Officer Elise Wells.

The ambulance collided with another vehicle, causing it to turn over on its side, she said.

No one in the ambulance was injured in the crash. A patient who was inside the ambulance at the time was taken to a hospital by a different medical unit, Wells said.

The driver of the second vehicle had minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital, Wells said.
