Work is underway to repair a car-sized hole in the side of a DeKalb elementary school.

A car crashed into the side of Redan Elementary on South Stone Mountain Lithonia Road overnight Saturday, Channel 2 Action News reported. The car was removed Sunday, and the hole was boarded up with plywood and red tape.

The cause of the crash and the condition of the driver was unknown Monday.
