The music star, whose legal name is Clifford Harris Jr., was arrested around 4 a.m. Wednesday after returning to the Eagle’s Landing Country Club community in the 100 block of Eagle’s Landing Way.

T.I. said he observed security guard Euwan James sleeping, according to a Henry County police report.

After T.I. woke up the guard and asked to be let in because he didn’t have his keys, James initially refused, Henry County police said in a report. James said T.I. started using profanity and yelled at him to open the gate, according to the report. James eventually opened the gate and let T.I. in, but T.I. told police James wouldn’t give him his name or his supervisor’s name when asked.

After T.I. parked his car at his home, he walked back to try to get James’ name, the report said.

In the 10-minute 911 call, James said he did not know who T.I. was.

“He’s here now, knocking on the door, threatening me,” he said.

T.I. let the man know exactly who he was.

“I own property over here,” he told James. “You work for me.”

T.I. asked multiple times for James to identify himself and who his superior was.

“What you’re doing, man, is making it worse,” T.I. said. “All that you’re doing is making it worse. You could’ve just said, 'My bad' and we could’ve been on about our night. What you’re doing right now, man, you making it worse.”

The 911 operator told James to ignore T.I. while police were en route. Many of T.I.’s comments were hard to make out over the call since James was calling from within his guard shack, while T.I. was yelling through the window.

Channel 2 Action News has obtained the entire 10-minute 911 call that eventually ended with T.I. being arrested.

When police arrived, an officer said he smelled “overwhelming” alcohol on T.I.’s breath and that the rapper admitted he had a drink while walking back to the guard shack.

At some point, T.I. called a friend who eventually joined him, police said.

T.I. was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness, all misdemeanors. His friend, Marquinarius Holmes, 40, of Stockbridge, was arrested on outstanding charges out of Clayton County and for not having proof of car insurance, the sheriff’s office told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

SecurAmerica, the security company that employed James, released a statement that said it is “unable to comment” because it’s a matter between Henry County law enforcement and T.I.

Via a live Instagram video, T.I. addressed the arrest as "nonsense" and "small potatoes," adding that God will take care of it. He appeared in the video while celebrating his son's 10th birthday at his home.

Later Wednesday, he told TheBlast.com that law enforcement in the county are "white cops in a very white area."
