Police are investigating after a man was found shot outside a South Fulton apartment building Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.

The shooting occurred at the Hickory Park Apartments at 4900 Delano Road. The man was found in the parking lot outside one of the apartment buildings, according to police spokesman Lt. Jubal Rogers. Police did not disclose how many times he was shot.

The man, whose identity was not released, was taken to a hospital in critical condition, Rogers said. He is expected to survive.

Police have not identified any suspects in the case.
