Investigators believe road rage led to a shooting Friday afternoon on I-20 in DeKalb County, the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center reported.

The shooting was reported in the eastbound lanes near the Wesley Chapel Road exit. A spokeswoman for DeKalb police said no injuries were reported. But photos showed a van with a blown-out back windshield.

The shooting was at least the 28th on metro Atlanta roads this year and the second in as many days in DeKalb.

Early Thursday, drivers were stuck on I-285 for nearly three hours while DeKalb police investigated a shooting. One person was taken to a hospital in critical condition after being shot near the Church Street exit, according to police spokeswoman Michaela Vincent.
