Police have identified a Lithonia teenager found shot to death Wednesday morning at a Gwinnett County park.
The body of 18-year-old Tori Lang was discovered about 6:30 a.m. underneath a tree at Yellow River Park near Stone Mountain, Gwinnett police spokeswoman Officer Hideshi Valle said at the scene.
Police responded to an “unknown medical call” after parkgoers discovered Lang’s body during their morning walk and called 911, Valle said. The teen was found in a grassy field with an apparent gunshot wound, she said.

Police are still working to determine what led to the shooting. More than a dozen investigators remained on scene Wednesday afternoon collecting evidence from the large field in the 691-acre park.
“We don’t have any motive right now,” Valle told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We don’t have any suspects or any leads.”
Lang was identified as the victim after police released photos of her tattoos to local news outlets. Her family recognized the distinctive tattoos on her neck and wrist and contacted law enforcement, police said.

She was the second woman found dead Wednesday morning at a popular metro Atlanta park. About 1 a.m., a 40-year-old woman was found stabbed to death in Piedmont Park, not far from the entrance at 10th Street and Charles Allen Drive, Atlanta police said.
Katherine Janness was walking her dog when she was stabbed multiple times in what police called a “gruesome” attack. The dog, Bowie, was also killed, and a $10,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest in the case.
Anyone with information about the shooting at Yellow River Park is asked to call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5700. Tipsters can remain anonymous, and be eligible for a cash reward, by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-8477, texting information to 274637 or visiting the Crime Stoppers website.
