The AJC celebrates Black History Month
In honor of Black History Month, this year's series focused on Black Resistance, adopting ASALH’s theme for 2023 theme, to look at how African Americans have “resisted historic and ongoing oppression, in all forms, especially the racial terrorism of lynching, racial pogroms, and police killings since our arrival upon these shores.” Our daily articles will explore its role in response to forms of oppression through faith, music, sports, the media, education, politics, and the environment.
