Police in Sandy Springs are investigating after an argument that started inside a lounge spilled outside and ended violently early Saturday.

A 29-year-old man was shot multiple times and is being treated at a hospital, according to investigators. The shooting happened just after 2 a.m. at the Venetian Bar and Grill in the 8900 block of Roswell Road.

Police said two patrons had a dispute inside the bar and it boiled over into the parking lot. At some point, the shooter opened fire on the victim, whose name was not released.

No suspects were in custody Saturday afternoon, according to police.

Detectives are interviewing possible witnesses, working to gather information and develop a description of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Sandy Springs detective Isaiah Tomlin at itomlin@sandysprings.gov.
