Authorities are investigating the shooting deaths of two teenagers whose bodies were discovered Friday afternoon in Middle Georgia.

Johnson County deputies responded to a rural area along Paul Lord Road in Wrightsville about 1 p.m. and found the 18-year-olds with gunshot wounds, the GBI said in a tweet. The victims were identified as Destiny Hope Kight of Wrightsville and Charles Jaylon Garrett of East Dublin, officials said.

Investigators have not announced any arrests in the case and it’s unclear if any suspects have been identified.

Wrightsville is located about 60 miles east of Macon and about 150 miles southeast of Atlanta.
