Gwinnett County police are investigating a shooting that left a 20-year-old dead and a teenager injured Saturday morning in a Loganville-area neighborhood.

Officers responded to Foxberry Run about 6 a.m. and discovered two people had been shot inside a vehicle, Gwinnett police said. The 20-year-old man, later identified as Devond Holmes of Loganville, was pronounced dead at the scene. A 16-year-old boy who was injured in the shooting was taken to the hospital, Officer Kylie Boney said. Police have not released his name.

Investigators interviewed potential witnesses but are still trying to determine what led to the shooting, police said. As of Tuesday, detectives had not named any suspects in the case.
