Community members, schools, businesses and nonprofits can help keep Milton’s parks beautiful and safe by joining the city’s new Adopt-a-Trail program.

Trails up for adoption are in Birmingham Park, Lahkapani Preserve, Mayfield Park, Milton City Park and Preserve and Providence Park.

The city will supply bags, gloves and other essentials. In addition to picking up debris, volunteers will look for things that might require further inspection by city staff like dead or decaying trees, obstructions, excessive weeds, damaged fencing and missing or damaged trail markers.
