Johns Creek has launched an innovative way to reduce plastic waste through the production of Creekwater.

Through a partnership with Six Bridges Brewing, Creekwater is filtered, canned water (and absolutely not from Johns Creek). The water is a secondary product of Six Bridges’ beer and spirit-making process that has been filtered, purified and safe for consumption.

As part of the Johns Creek Going Green campaign and pursuit of the Atlanta Regional Commission’s Green Communities certification, the city learned that beverages in plastic generate the most waste. Creekwater is a sustainable alternative to plastic bottled water.
