Decatur-based L’Arche Atlanta will hold its 11th Birthday Benefit and Auction from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 29 at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Church, 2045 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE, Atlanta.

To be a Golden Ticket holder for the drawing, register at larcheatlanta.org/11bba.html.

Winners will be given one of four destination getaways.

All proceeds will support L’Arche Atlanta.

Its mission is to form inclusive communities where people with and without intellectual disabilities can find friendship and belonging, according to a L’Arche Atlanta statement.

L’Arche Atlanta launched its first house in 2012 in the Oakhurst neighborhood of Decatur.

Now L’Arche Atlanta is one of more than 150 global communities in 38 countries in the International Federation of L’Arche.

The nonprofit was founded in 1964 as a response to the mass institutionalization of people with intellectual disabilities.
