I scream, you scream, metro Atlanta really screams for ice cream.
This week’s Best of Atlanta poll results are in and with more than 3,000 entries, residents have chosen their winner for the best frozen dessert in the city.

In eighth place came Sarah Jean's Ice Cream in Marietta, which garnered 2% of votes.
A tie emerged for sixth place between Intown’s Honeysuckle Gelato and Queen of Cream, which boasts two locations, including one in Lenox Square. They each received 3% of votes. Four Fat Cows in North Fulton came in fifth place with 8% of votes. Morelli's Gourmet Ice Cream & Desserts got 10% of votes to come in fourth place.
Now for the top three.

Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream, which has multiple locations and sells pints in Publix stores, came in third after garnering 12% of votes. Butter & Cream, which has locations on the Atlanta Beltline and in Decatur, landed just shy of the top spot it held last year. It came in second place after receiving 21% of votes.
So which shop earned the title as the best ice cream in metro Atlanta?
That goes to Berens Frozen Custard in Grayson. The spot has been an Atlanta staple for more than 40 years and it garnered 41% of votes to become the winner.
