Atlanta is a city of murals. They decorate walls, tunnels and the sides of buildings.
The city even joined a parnership to have dozens of murals painted ahead of February's Super Bowl 53.
The project was a partnership between the city, the Atlanta Super Bowl Host Committee and WonderRoot, the arts and advocacy organization partially responsible for the mural on the King Memorial MARTA station.

Sean Schwab’s mural of U.S. Rep. John Lewis on Auburn Avenue loomed large over the competition.
"It is really important that we have these lasting reminders in our city, of obviously what the civil rights movement means to Atlanta, but also what arts and culture means," Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said during a news conference announcing the Super Bowl project.
Finishing second was a mural near Atlanta University Center from that project: "Community Roots" by Muhammad Yungai.
