We encourage our readers to support local businesses after the authorities loosen the social distancing rules — along with supporting those businesses that offer delivery or pickup during the outbreak.
Although going out to eat isn’t an option lately, Dunwoody residents have chosen their favorite patio to dine on in the DeKalb County city.

Eating options are plentiful in the area, and when it comes to picking an outdoor dining spot, the choices abound.
Still, only one could be deemed the best, so here’s the voting breakdown in this week’s Best of Dunwoody poll results.
In sixth place was King George Tavern with 4.7% of votes.
Fifth place went to Portico Global Cuisine, which garnered 5.4% of votes.
The Bird landed in fourth place, accounting for 9.3% of votes.
In the top three, Dunwoody Tavern took 21.7% of votes. The Irish pub has a covered patio where live music takes place on warm weekends.
Not far ahead of the pub is second place holder Novo Cucina with 22.5% of votes. Touting itself as offering the best Italian food in the city, this spot features private dining on an enclosed patio with French doors that open to the outdoors.

So which spot got the title of the best patio in Dunwoody?
That goes to Café Intermezzo. The Vienna-style cafe where guests can sit under umbrellas on the patio garnered 36.4% of votes. Discovery Dunwoody says this eatery is "for the lovers" and is considered one of the most romantic spots in the city.
