New couples seeking a spot to visit on a first date have plenty of choices in Sandy Springs. But with so many options, it can be daunting to choose where to go.
If you’re on the hunt for the perfect spot for your first date, we’ve taken out the guess work with the latest Best of Sandy Springs poll.

Residents recently decided on the best place to take your new beau among active adventures like an escape room to museums to lounges.
In seventh place with 4.9 percent of votes was Cigar City Club. The shop touts itself as “the premier destination in the Southeast for cigar enthusiasts.” Next was Heritage Sandy Springs Museum and Park, which landed in sixth place and got 8.1 percent of votes. The community museum on Blue Stone Road showcases historical artifacts and local heritage exhibits as well as displays about the Civil War, making it a good place to bond over history.
There’s no fifth place finisher because fourth place turned out to be a tie. Georgia Chapter Room and Mastermind Escape Games both earned 9.8 percent of votes. It seems Sandy Springs residents equally enjoyed the modern speakeasy and solving puzzles to escape a room before time expires.

In third place was Bury the Hatchet. The ax-throwing recreation center on Roswell Road took 14.6 percent of votes.
Meanwhile, second placeholder Pontoon Brewing collected 20.3 percent of votes. This microbrewery became the first in Sandy Springs when it opened in 2017.
So which spot in Sandy Springs garnered the most votes to be named the best first date spot?
The title goes to Three Sheets. The upscale lounge and rooftop bar earned 32.5 percent of votes. Three Sheets offers live music, cocktails and small plates that many residents seem to think makes for an ideal place for an initial romantic meeting.
