Where can I find it?

Q: I've used Adorn hair spray for years. Now it seems to have disappeared from all the major drugstores and supermarkets. Can you help me find this product, please? —- Jane Baker, Smyrna

A: Adorn has been around for ages and, for the most part, it's been replaced on store shelves by the legions of spritzes, freezes and other newer sprays that promise more high-tech holding power. But some old favorites still survive and Adorn hair spray is one of them. You can find three formulas, including unscented and extra hold, in 7.5-ounce spray cans at Bed Bath and Beyond, 1 Buckhead Loop, Atlanta, 404-869-0457.

Q: I've been looking everywhere for Diamond brand kosher salt, much preferred over other kosher salts. I used to get it at Harry's. Whole Foods doesn't carry this particular brand, and I used to also find it at Publix, but I've searched several Publix stores in the past year for the product —- to no avail. This salt is a favorite of many chefs, including Alton Brown. Please help me locate this salt. Thank you. —- Terry Gilbreath, e-mail

A: You'll find Alton Brown's endorsement of the salt on Diamond's Web site. And while this kosher salt comes in 3-pound boxes, all I found were the 13-ounce round cans, which should work for most uses. You can purchase the burgundy-and-white cans for 99 cents at Publix, 3535 Peachtree Road, Atlanta, 404-848-0344.

Q: I adore Yorkshire Gold tea because it's the smoothest tea experience I've ever had. It's very difficult to find and I hope you can help me locate a box or two of the tea bags. I appreciate any help you can provide. —- Oscar Balen, Sandy Springs

A: Taylors of Harrogate offers different versions of its Yorkshire teas, including one for hard water. You can find several varieties of the teas, loose or in bags, if you visit Taste of Britain, 73 S. Peachtree St., Norcross, 770-242-8585. A box of Yorkshire Gold holding 80 tea bags sells for $13.75.

Q: I am looking for Sally Hansen Lip Grip + Plumper. It is a product that serves as a base coat to minimize lipstick bleed. It is in a convenient tube that applies easily and tucks away nicely in the purse. I would really appreciate your sleuthing for me on this product. —- Jody Cohen, Atlanta

A: Jody, I tracked down your lipstick primer by Sally Hansen at Ulta, 3495 Buckhead Loop, Atlanta, 404-266-3559. Each tube costs $5.99. There weren't a lot in stock, but the salesperson said that it's an item that the store carries on a regular basis. If I were you, I'd buy two because you never know.

Q: Where can I buy an official Georgia state flag suitable for an outdoor flagpole? Thanks. —- David Matheny, Rome

A: The size flag you need depends on the length of your flagpole. For instance, a flag that measures 3-by-5 feet requires a 20-foot pole. That size Georgia flag in nylon will cost $32, and is suitable for outdoor use. And this is the official 2003 version of the Georgia flag. You'll find these and other flags, including a Georgia flag that measures an impressive 10-by-15 feet and sells for $433 —- requiring a 40-foot pole —- at the Flag Co., 3600 Cantrell Industrial Court, Acworth, 770-974-0507. You can check out the Web site at www.flagco.com.
