I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.

We scream a bit louder in summer, because that creamy, sweet treat is a great way to beat the heat.

Sure, you can go to any grocery store and pick up a pint or gallon, but real ice cream connoisseurs will travel to their favorite parlor for a bowl or cone of this cold concoction.

This week’s Best of Atlanta poll wants to know your favorite place to go for ice cream.

If your favorite ice cream parlor isn't on here, don't scream. You can submit a write-in nominee by emailing your pick to nancy.clanton@ajc.com.

If enough people suggest your favorite spot, we’ll add it to our poll.
