Secoriea Turner was near the Wendy’s occupied by protesters after Rayshard Brooks was killed in a confrontation with Atlanta police.
Those who've been spending time at the site, which they hope to see turned into a community center in Brooks' honor, said the shooters were not from their group, Joshua Sharpe reported.

» Police finish clearing the Wendy's where Rayshard Brooks was killed
After Secoriea’s death — part of a violent holiday weekend that ended with 31 injuries and five deaths — Atlanta police cleared out the Wendy’s parking lot and put up barricades.
The Atlanta media mogul often helps Atlanta residents who need assistance. He paid for Brooks' funeral and for the funeral of a single mother who was killed outside an Alpharetta bank.
In 2016, Perry handled the bills for two 15-month-old girls who died in a hot car. He also helped a Sandy Springs couple stuck in a Mexican hospital because of unpaid bills.
In June, Perry gifted a new cargo van to an Atlanta organization that provides hygiene products to people dealing with homelessness.
