Craving a taste of diner classics? Well, according to a new ranking, this popular spot is the best Georgia has to offer.

The website 24/7 Tempo, a member of financial news network 24/7 Wall St. Media, has ranked the best diners across the nation.

For the list, 24/7 Tempo reviewed many best diners lists from a range of websites. Most diners on the resulting list were named the best in their state multiple times.

In Georgia, the title went to Marietta Diner. The Cobb Parkway spot is currently closed to dine-in customers due to the coronavirus pandemic. While you can't sit at the bar or grab a booth like old times, you can still visit 24/7 for curbside pickup and the drive-through.

The diner, which features a sprawling menu that includes Greek specialties and big breakfast plates, opened in 1996 and has been featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives." Sample menu items pointed out by 24/7 Tempo include Papa George's Famous Greek Salad and the Jack Daniel's pork chops.

Online, customers have raved about the Marietta staple.

"The Matzo Ball Soup is so good, I will get it as takeout and take it to sick family members. It will cure any ailment. (I always get a container for me too, of course. One time, I ate the soup with a plastic soup in my car outside my brother's house. I couldn't wait.)" wrote Yelp user Kristen P.

TripAdvisor user Mark W., a self-described "frequent diner," wrote, "Whether it's breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert or a snack, every visit to Marietta Diner has been characterized by excellent food, attentive service and very gracious staff. Everything that comes out of the kitchen is surprisingly good."
