It’s a popular name among royalty, and it has reigned supreme for a decade.

Sophia is once again the most popular name for girls on BabyCenter’s annual list.

On the list of names for boys, Liam has knocked Jackson off the throne to claim the top spot for 2019.

The top five names on both lists were the same this year as last, with one position change — Liam overtaking Jackson — and Aria moving up to No. 5, bumping Isabella to No. 6.

To compile its list, BabyCenter combined names that sound the same but have multiple spellings (like Sophia and Sofia, or Jackson and Jaxon). Its data come from nearly 600,000 BabyCenter parents who shared their baby's name.
