Talking turkey? Atlanta Community Food Bank to receive 250 turkeys

You may recognize the Robert Mondavi brand for its wine.

Now it may also become known for turkeys.

Hundreds of Atlanta needy families will have a happier - and fuller - Thanksgiving, thanks to a donation of 250 turkeys to the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi made the donation as part of its "Thanks Giving Back" campaign. This is the first time the Woodbridge team has donated to the Atlanta food bank.

Volunteers will deliver the turkeys to the food bank on Nov. 5 . The turkeys will then be dispersed through the organization’s network of partner agencies across 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties. Food will be distributed through local community kitchens, food pantries, night shelters and senior centers.
