Twitter mourns former first lady Barbara Bush
Former first lady Barbara Bush, respected by people on both sides of the political spectrum, is dead at 92.
Bush was the wife and mother of former presidents, a position that she carried with grace and elegance. She was also a tireless advocate for literacy and her foundation supported several family literacy projects in Georgia.
Twitter was filled with condolences and tributes to Bush, who had been in poor health for a while.Recently, her family said, she decided to forgo medical treatment and focus, instead, on comfort care.
She died at her Texas home.
We’re thinking of and praying for the Bush family. May the family be comforted by sweet memories and encouraged by the love that former First Lady #BarbaraBush deposited. pic.twitter.com/JsDjAXdJIi

Barbara Bush was a remarkable woman. She had grit & grace, brains & beauty. She was fierce & feisty in support of her family & friends, her country & her causes. She showed us what an honest, vibrant, full life looks like. Hillary and I mourn her passing and bless her memory.
