Beginning Feb. 10, the seafood chain will allow guests to add $1 to their to-go order of cheesy, garlicky biscuits and have the food stored in a custom, heart-shaped box.
An order of six biscuits can be made and stored in the container by going to redlobster.com. Once the order is placed, patrons can pick it up from the restaurant or have it delivered directly to their sweetheart. The heart-shaped box option, which reads "You're my lobster," is available while supplies last.
“Whether it’s a savory surprise for your sweetheart or a well-deserved treat just for you, Cheddar Bay Biscuits are the way to everyone’s heart this Valentine’s Day,” said Salli Setta, Red Lobster president and chief concept officer. “Now, thanks to Red Lobster To Go, it’s easier and more convenient than ever to tell that special someone ‘You’re my lobster.’”

The lobster quote referenced a scene in the sitcom "Friends" when Phoebe told Ross that he'll end up with Rachel because, "she's your lobster." It came before Phoebe explained that lobsters mate for life, which experts say is not actually true.
The offering comes decades after Red Lobster first introduced their pre-meal offering to their menu in 1992. The cheddar bay biscuits are hand-mixed in the restaurant using a secret recipe, according to the eatery. They were initially served on trays in the lobby as guests waited for their table. But the demand grew so much that it ultimately was served at the table.
