Put on your cat ears and tiger tales for the Gwinnett Runs Wild 3K. There's no need to be concerned about time for this event, as this fun run is meant to raise money for the Gwinnett Parks Foundation's Health and Wellness Scholarship Fund.

“Get wild in celebration of Earth Odyssey Day 2020! Join Live Healthy Gwinnett and Gwinnett Parks & Recreation for a 3K fun run on the trails at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center. Come dressed as your favorite animal and roar, soar or stampede through nature,” the event description states.
Live Healthy Gwinnett, which was launched in 2014 to encourage county residents to invest in their wellness, will host the April 25 event. Registration for the kid- and dog-friendly run is $10 and includes a t-shirt, which is guaranteed if registered by April 8, and giveaway. The two-hour race begins at 7 p.m., but participants can begin picking up their packets at 5 p.m. Strollers are allowed and dogs must be on a leash.

The event benefits the Health and Wellness Scholarship Fund, which was launched in partnership with Live Healthy Gwinnett and the Gwinnett Parks Foundation. The fund provides free swimming lessons to at-risk youth who attend summer camps at county facilities.
