To celebrate the class of 2020, Pizza Hut is offering a free pie to graduates.

The chain, which was founded in Wichita, Kansas, announced on social media late last week that it’s giving away 500,000 free pizzas in partnership with America’s dairy farmers.

“Congratulations Class of 2020, you did it! Together with America’s dairy farmers, we want to celebrate all your accomplishments with half a million FREE pizzas,” read the May 21 Facebook post.

Graduates can claim a free one-topping medium pizza while supplies last by visiting this link to sign in or sign up for Hut Rewards and redeem the offer online.

“Our brand has a long history of celebrating moments that matter — like graduations — and Pizza Hut takes pride in being a part of our customers’ big days,” said George Felix, chief marketing officer of Pizza Hut, in a press release. “So, it’s only natural that we’d be there for students and their families to help celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating class of 2020.”

Marilyn Hershey, a Pennsylvania dairy farmer and chair of Dairy Management Inc., a dairy promotion organization funded by America's dairy farmers and importers,  noted the group is celebrating high school seniors and their families.

“America's dairy farmers have great appreciation and respect for the hard work that graduating students have put in and nothing celebrates that better than cheese and pizza enjoyed with family and friends,” Hershey said.

The pie giveaway follows another free food offer provided to graduates. Krispy Kreme gave away a “Graduation Dozen” to students graduating from high school or college earlier this month. The offer included fan-favorite treats such as yellow iced original glazed doughnuts and cake batter-filled ones.
