Three days before the close of National Burger Month is National Burger Day. The May 28th event celebrates all things meat sandwiched between two buns.
What better way to mark the day than to chow down on some juicy burgers? While you’re at it, you may be able to dine on a free one too.

Treat the family to a $25 ultimate bundle, which includes two Whoppers, two Double Cheeseburgers, two Original Chicken Sandwiches, two 10-piece nuggets, four small fries, four small drinks and four cookies. Not feeding a crowd? Then opt for a $5 Whopper Meal. To claim the National Burger Day deal, sign in online or on the fast food spot’s app.
Choose between the Western Bacon Cheeseburger or the Famous Star with Cheese and customers can buy one and get one for $1 at participating restaurants.
“Burger” may not be in the name, but the fast food spot serves them up alongside its namesake. Del Taco is offering customers a buy one, get one free Double Del cheeseburger through May 31 in the official app.
The chain’s classic burgers are being sold for $5.28 on National Burger Day. Wayback Burgers is also teaming with The Great American Takeout, which is offering the chance to win free burgers for a year.
For May 28 only, the restaurant is offering a three for $10 special including their Big Mouth Bites — four mini cheeseburgers — a non-alcoholic beverage, an appetizer and fries.
There are also specials on to-go alcohol orders.
The burger offers don’t have to end when National Burger Month does at Steak ‘n Shake. The eatery is offering a free $5 gift certificate when you buy $20 in gift cards through August 18. The certificate is valid for 30 days after purchase.
They're also offering a $4 double steak burger and milkshake special. Free fries are offered at participating locations.
In partnership with Off The Menu, Uber Eats is presenting Burger Showdown, in which 50 celebrities team with local restaurants in 10 cities to prepare their ultimate burger. The burgers, crafted by stars including Dwyane Wade, Melissa McCarthy and Matthew McConaughey, will be available beginning May 28.
