While Memorial Day gatherings will not look the same thing year amid social distancing efforts, a wide variety of retailers and eateries are still offering deals, discounts and freebies in honor of the holiday. While many are aimed at veterans and active duty members of the military, some of the offers extend to other front-line workers and to the general public. Here are some of the deals up for grabs in metro Atlanta and beyond.

Amazon: The online retailer is offering up to 60% off appliances, smart home devices and more.
Apple: Apple Watch Series 3 will be priced as low as $199 through Memorial Day.
Best Buy: The store will have markdowns on all appliances for Memorial Day, with limited time 24-month financing.
Mattress Firm: The Memorial Day sale offers up to 50% off inventory.
The Home Depot: Get up to 40% off appliances, grills, patio furniture and more.
Target: Receive up to 25% off patio items.
Wayfair: You can get up to 60% off outdoor furniture and up to 70% off other household items through Memorial Day weekend.
Food
Chili's: Receive half off an order of Baby Back Ribs as part of the 3 for $10 special on May 25.
Home Chef: Military personnel, medical professionals, first responders and teachers can receive half off their first purchase from the the meal service, Home Chef.
Hooters: Members of the military and health care workers can get 20% off all food orders through Memorial Day.
Outback Steakhouse: Through the heroes discount, members of the military and their family members can get 10% off their order. This year, health care workers are also eligible for the discount.
Smashburger: Like some other restaurants, Smashburger has been offering kits to make your own dishes at home. On Memorial Day weekend the kits, normally ranging from $25 to $48 will be discounted $5 from Friday to Monday. The kits can be ordered online.
Subway: Subway is offering a free footlong sub with the purchase of another footlong.
