CBS is holding open online auditions for undiscovered talent for CBS shows and pilots nationwide.
Online audition monologues will be accepted through Friday, Oct. 28.
CBS through its CBS Drama Diversity Casting Initiative is accepting online Submissions from actors who would like to get the attention of principal casting directors to be considered for speaking roles in TV pilots that will start production in early 2017. Their goal is to encourage talent from smaller markets, including Atlanta. The first step for your child is to download a monologue from the site, make a recording of the monologue being performed and then upload it to the casting site. If your child is selected, you'll do an in-person audition in Atlanta. Actors making that cut will then be flown to Los Angeles in December to do a screen test with the network. CBS will be paying for the travel in the final "screen test" round.

If you're testing their acting chops locally ...
Backstage, an audition website, has announced castings and auditions for Atlanta's youth actors, but for specific details parents must create a log-in for your child at Backstage for complete audition information and to apply for Atlanta-based opportunities.
