How to tune in to Obama’s commencement addresses this weekend
In honor of the class of 2020, whose pomp and circumstance has been upended by the pandemic, former President Barack Obama will deliver two commencement addresses today, Saturday, May 16.
First, Obama will headline the Show Me Your Walk, HBCU Edition virtual commencement. The ceremony will be streamed at 2 p.m. on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter.
The event is also slated to include appearances from Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, Chris Paul and others. There will also be musical performances.
Later in the day, Obama will deliver a commencement address as part of the Graduate Together: America Honors the High School Class of 2020.
Beginning at 8 p.m., the one-hour event is being hosted by the LeBron James Family Foundation and XQ Institute.
ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC will simultaneously air the special.

"This high school graduation season will be anything but ordinary — but that's all the more reason why the Class of 2020 deserves extraordinary advice, heartfelt encouragement, and hard-won wisdom about facing new challenges in an uncertain world," Russlynn Ali, CEO and co-founder of XQ Institute, said in a statement.
Graduating is a big achievement no matter what, but with all that the Class of 2020 has dealt with to get across the finish line, I think they’ve earned a little celebration. I hope you’ll all join me in honoring them at 2PM ET and 8PM ET. pic.twitter.com/dBK5nll7w8
