Built in 1907, the Palmer House has Victorian-era exterior features, such as the balustrades and pointed gables. Three legendary Atlanta architects — Gottfried Norrman, Neel Reid and Philip T. Shutze — helped design the two apartment buildings that became one complex. The building, which hold a Landmark Building Exterior designation from the city of Atlanta, is located just a block from another historic Atlanta property, the Margaret Mitchell House.
