English Tudor-style home showcases Atlanta owner’s plant ‘babies’

The English Tudor home, built in 1930, has architectural features such as an arched window and brick-and-stone exterior. The 3,237-square-foot home in Atlanta's Morningside neighborhood has five bedrooms and four baths.

An interior window above the built-in bookshelf in the living room gives a glimpse into the mudroom.

The Clarissa glass drop chandelier from Pottery Barn hangs above an antique dining table and chairs upholstered in materials from Karen's Fabrics. Curtains from Pottery Barn frame needlepoint art that Kenan Hill inherited from her parents. The walls are painted Repose Gray by Sherwin-Williams.

In the living room, the original fireplace and other items, such as the antique oriental rug, a Singer sewing machine table and toy box-turned-coffee table, reference years past.

Light streams into the Morningside home, which has touches of greenery in the decor.

The Kohler & Campbell piano is from Kenan Hillâs childhood. She painted the Porch Farm Poppies piece, which is an acrylic on canvas piece. The arc lamp is from Target.

The kitchen includes a butler's pantry with glass-front cabinets and a built-in desk. "I'm always really happy to have a ton of storage," Kenan Hill said. "My whole family is amazed I have filled it all up."

A clawfoot tub brings a vintage feel into the master bathroom makeover in the 1930 home. The bathroom, which features marble, was among renovations by the previous owners. The tub faucet is by Newport Brass. (Christopher Oquendo)

The covered porch was added off the second-story master bedroom during renovations by previous owners.
