While the event is an opportunity for walkers and runners to pick up their race numbers, there will be plenty of other things to do. Here’s what you should know.
What is it?
The AJC Peachtree Health & Fitness Expo is a free, two-day event that takes place ahead of the AJC Peachtree Road Race.
It will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 2 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 3.
Where is it?
It will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center, Bldg C, Exhibit Hall C1 at 362 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd., Atlanta. Here are the driving directions.
Parking is available in the Yellow Lot at a discounted rate of $12 a day if pre-purchased online. Otherwise, the daily rate is $15.
How do I pick up my race number?
If you selected to pick up your race number at the expo, you will need a copy of your race number confirmation, which can be printed or shown on your phone. You will also need a form of ID, such as a driver's license, school ID, report card, etc.
If a third party is picking up your number ID, they must bring a copy of your ID and your race number confirmation.
What else can I do aside from picking up my race number?
You can participate in the pole vault and triple jump competition, the Race to Pace Challenge and many other track activities.
Highlights will also include food samples from Waffle House, Coca Cola and CLIF Bar. And there will be tons of running and fitness apparel, including official Peachtree merchandise, on deck.
What else should I know?
Feel free to pick up your MARTA pass at the expo, too, so you’ll have a stress-free morning the day of the big race.
