Piedmont opens new surgery center

A new Piedmont Surgery Center is treating patients at Piedmont West Medical Office Park on Howell Mill Road in Atlanta.

The 15,600-square-foot facility provides services related to orthopaedic, gynecological, urological and plastic surgeries.

The new surgery center complements Piedmont Hospital’s existing McDonnell Surgery Center on the Piedmont Hospital campus, giving patients and their surgeons more choices for outpatient surgery. It has four operating rooms, two procedure rooms and 17 preoperative beds.
