The end of the decade is drawing near. While there won't be a Peach Drop this year, there are plenty of ways to ring in the new year in style.

After all, Atlanta was recently named one of the best cities in the country to celebrate the new year.

At The Battery Atlanta, there will be a little something for everyone on New Year’s Eve.

The Battery's New Year's Eve Bash kicks off with family friendly events at 6:30 p.m. Parents or guardians can bring young ones to enjoy live performances and activities. There will be a baseball balloon drop at 8 p.m. to accommodate those with early bedtimes.

The late night festivities get underway at 9 p.m. The South Band and David Garibaldi will perform live on the Georgia Power Pavilion Stage.

The night will be topped off with a midnight countdown that will include pyrotechnics, confetti and a fireworks display.

Braves in-game host Mark Owens will emcee the evening.

If you go: The Battery is located at 800 Battery Ave. SE, Atlanta. More information can be found here.
