Life may be at a standstill right now, but the show will eventually go on. At least according to Atlanta’s Fox Theatre.

“This is only an intermission,” the theater proclaimed in a message on its marquee sign this week. “Stay safe and we will see you soon, Atlanta!”

A picture of the encouraging message posted on social media drew thousands of reactions and hundreds of shares.

Amid the city's stay-at-home order and ban on group gatherings, the Fox is temporarily shuttered, like all other theaters and non-essential businesses in an attempt to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

The Fox canceled its run of “Miss Saigon,” March 17-22. Ticketholders who purchased directly from the Fox will receive an email with information regarding refunds.

The theater also announced it has postponed the full run of "Hamilton," which was scheduled to take place March 31-May 3.
