The Atlanta Pizza Festival is coming in May and while the exact location is being kept under wraps, there'll be no shortage of the pie Americans will likely eat 6,000 slices of in their lifetime.

The festival touted as the “Ultimate Pizza Experience” and the “Nation’s Biggest Pizza Festival” will occur somewhere in Atlanta on Sunday, May 10. The event location has yet to be announced.

“With pizza vendors from all over the world attending our first event we are expecting to see large crowds and lots of PIZZA!” read the event description.

Tickets have yet to go on sale, but the organizer, U.S. Pizza Festivals, promised attendees can expect live music, activities, beer and wine and, of course, lots of pizza.

U.S. Pizza Festivals has recently listed several upcoming conventions all about the savory meal originating from Italy. Aside from Atlanta, two are set for Florida in April, while others will occur in Charlotte, N.C., Boston and Los Angeles later this year.
