NFA Burger is back in business in Salim Thobani’s Chevron station at 5465 Chamblee Dunwoody Road.

“The jurisdictional paperwork ping pong game is over and we’re back to our regularly scheduled hours,” Owner Billy Kramer posted on Instagram.

“We were able to use the time to complete some upgrades ... namely a larger and more efficient 2nd grill. It won’t be the time savior everyone would like, but every little bit counts,” Kramer continued.

Kramer posted on the NFA website last month that NFA — which stands for "not fooling around" —  "is temporarily closed due to a permitting issue. "I was given documentation telling me I had 15 days. Instead, I was given 24 hours."

According to its Yelp listing, NFA Burger was scheduled to reopen April 7, but apparently worked everything out a month earlier.

NFA Burger is open 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday; 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday-Saturday; and closed on Sunday and Monday. Kramer’s burgers have a 4.5 star rating on Yelp.
