Flashback photos: 75 years ago, Georgia and Atlanta in 1944 (Part Two)
The effects of World War II were everywhere, including Georgia. Celebrities came to town to encourage the purchase of war bonds to fund the effort in Europe. Life went on, though, as shrimp boats hauled in seafood near Savannah and loggers harvested trees from Georgia forests. Take a glimpse at Georgia as it was 75 years ago.
