Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman may have been the ultimate fedora duo in the 1943 classic 'Casablanca.' Film noir and our entire idea of the strong, silent type wouldn't be the same without Bogart and his hat. Bergman wore her fedora fiercely, but loaded with femininity. Ashlee Simpson never donned it this well.

Hard to imagine or even catch a glimpse of Frank Sinatra without a fedora. Ol' Blue Eyes is even wearing it on the U.S. Postal Service commemorative stamp released in May.

Atlanta police homicide detectives aren't the only hat-wearing cops. Dick Tracy has been wearing a fedora since the comic strip debuted in 1931, and kept it up for the 1990 film starring Warren Beatty.

Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas often appears in a fedora on red carpets and in videos, from the YouTube sensation "Yes We Can" to the MTV-ready "My Humps."

The man in the fedora always get the girl. Indiana Jones, the whip-toting professor played by Harrison Ford wore the hat in the 1980s, then donned it again for "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," which opened in May.
