Harry Potter fans unite! This sip and paint event in Alpharetta is fit for fans of the hit book and movie series.

Painting with a Twist invites guests to hop on the Hogwarts Express. The train metaphorically departs at 4 p.m., on Dec. 21 and will take participants on a magical evening all about the young wizard. The instructor will guide painters in a step-by-step painting session of Harry’s pet snow owl, Hedwig. All the while, participants will play Harry Potter-themed trivia.

All ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged. The wizarding beverage of butterbeer will be available for purchase. The event’s cost is $37 to paint a 10x30 canvas.

Attendees are instructed to arrive early to enjoy a beverage in their seat. Painting with a Twist offers a selection of beer and wine to purchase, so there’s no need to bring your own indulgences.

The studio opened its Alpharetta location in 2017, a decade after owners Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney opened the first location in New Orleans.
