History: Using art-therapy based instruction, Drawchange helps children who are homeless or living in poverty gain self-esteem and learn coping skills. Drawchange has worked with children in after-school programs, orphanages and homeless shelters since 2009.

Did you know: Drawchanges' art curriculum was developed by art and behavioral therapists. The Drawchange Blueprint is available to anyone who wants to offer it in their neighborhood, and it comes with free training and art materials.

Its motto: Empowering children through the use of art.

How you can help: Start an art program in your community by using the free Drawchange Blueprint or volunteer to work with children who participate in the program. Become a Drawchange champion as a sustaining member or make a one-time donation.
