Chinaza Duson, the founder and CEO of the SheSpeaksGlobal movement, will return to metro Atlanta next week in hopes of once again empowering and inspiring women across the global to find their voice and pursue their purpose.

The three-day “Destination Destiny” conference, in its second year, will get underway July 29 at the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel & Conference Center in Peachtree City.

“Destiny is truly not for comfort seekers,” Duson said. “Destiny is for the daring and determined who are willing to endure some discomfort, delay gratification, and go where destiny leads.”

Duson, who was the subject of a This Life column last year, launched the conference after sharing her story of abuse at an international business conference and witnessing the impact it had on other women.

In additional to the usual seminars and informational panels, attendees can participate in yoga and Zumba sessions, a “Pillow Talk Pajama Jam” to inspire life-changing therapeutic conversations, and a twist on the pink carpet with a new Masquerade Mardi Gras-themed reception to bring out their inner glam.

A new addition to the 2016 Experience is a Limited Edition “HeSpeaks” breakout series led by some of the most inspiring and influential leaders in the business, finance and faith communities. Because it is critical for them to understand their voice and the important role they play in the development and empowerment of women, the men have been invited to the conversation this year.

Featured speakers include Steed Media Group and Rolling Out Magazine’s Yvette Caslin, City of Love’s Bishop Lester Love, Sleepis4Suckers Founder David Shands, and The Accion Group’s Tina Wheeler.
